Here’s a shocking fact for you, school children contribute 1.2 billion pounds of lunch waste to the landfill each years? This garbage is generated mostly from the single use packages like Ziploc sandwich bags, wax paper and pre-packages lunches that you get at the supermarket. You know, those Lunchables and similar items. All of that wrapping and packaging adds up and is terrible for the environment. Invest in the proper lunch container and you could even opt to have a bag to carry it. That way it’s portable and you can take meals everywhere.

Ooops what a terrible fact.
But I doubt how many parents will apply this for their chidlren…No parent will give less food in the tiffin boxes since their child return home with lot of tiffin food un-eaten.
